Evan has joined the ensemble cast in Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme's new project for NBC, now titled "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip."
He will play a senior writer on the show about the behind-the-scenes action
at a fictional late-night network sketch comedy show is tentatively titled
"Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." The 60-minute drama is loosely
based on Saturday Night Live.
The cast also includes Matthew Perry, Amanda Peet, Steven Weber, D.L.
Hughley, Michael Stuhlbarg, Nathan Corddry and Carlos Jacott.

"Hot Properties" premiers Friday, October 7 at
9:30 est on ABC. The comedy takes place at a Manhattan real estate office
and Evan plays office neighbor Dr. Sellers Boyd, a cute, divorced therapist who analyzes and overthinks everything

Evan started playing a recurring character on "The Guardian" at the end of last season, and that will carry over into the beginning of
the current season.

And, as of the final three (out of 8) episodes of this coming
season( Season Five premieres Sunday, July 21 at
9pm ET/PT.), he will be a new regular character on "Sex and the
City". This role will run all through the following season.

Baltimore's Center
Stage First Look series premiered on December
13th & 14th, 2001, with a reading of Intimate Apparel by Brooklyn
based playwright Lynn Nottage (Crumbs from the Table of Joy). A
co-commission with South Coast Repertory Theater (Costa Mesa, CA), the
play-in-progress is set in the boudoirs of New York during the first decade
of the 20th Century. Center Stage Associate Artist and Tony Award nominee
Marion McClinton directed the staged reading; a post-show discussion
followed. Evan read the role of Marks.

- According to E!Online, Evan, along with Ron Silver and Connie Britton, has
been elected to play a recurring role on "The West Wing". Playing campaign
advisers to Martin Sheen, the three will clash with President Bartlet's normal
advisers. They'll appear in the season premiere and then during various key
episodes throughout the year. Evan's character is Doug Wegland.
- According to Evan, he is also doing an episode of Ed which is
to air October 31.

- “A Celebration of Life, Courage, and Hope” was held at The
Johns Hopkins Oncology Center on Saturday, June 3. as keynote speaker, Evan
entertained the audience with his poignant and comical recall of his
experiences and excerpts from his book Time On Fire.

- The Three Stooges airs on ABC on April 24. Here's an accompanying article,

January 2000
- Happy 39th Birthday to Evan. January 10.
- Evan has been cast as Larry Fine in ABC's upcoming biopic about the Three
Stooges. Production begins Jan. 27 in Sydney. ABC is targeting the movie
for a spring release. Among the executive producers is Mel Gibson.
December 1999
- Evan is scheduled to appear on Rosie O'Donnell December 21.
- In Network Television's typical timing, It's Like....You Know was
pulled from the ABC lineup. The announcement was made in the middle of
the Holiday season.
July 1999
- It's Like, You Know... returns to ABC July 20. It has been picked back up for the Fall 1999 season. Congratulations to the entire cast!
- Harvest, a film about a DEA agent who investigates an agricultural community secretly growing marijuana in effort to save its farms is being readied for an October release. Evan will play the part of Ray Baker.
