Autumn Lake
Autumn leaves do fall upon the silent lake
Waters that run still and ever so deep,
Silver mirrors and waves of green
In her depths lie dragons asleep
The water will run your fingers through
There is so much still to know
And when you smile above the lake
Your happiness will you overtake
And be reflected in the lake
Oh where are you Lady of the Lake?
Oh where are you, sweet mermaid?
Silent swimmers of lakes of dreams
Echoes of songs that our hearts
Do keep
Autumn leaves fall upon the lake
And hide the summer sky
Just for a moment the night's hate
Is seen here
But it is a lie
See the leaf, it is gold
And while it gently floats
Let this be your thought
Here is the lake, here the sun
Here the mermaid, here the leaf
And everything and you are one
Silver mirrors and waves of green
In her depths lie dragons asleep
The water will run your fingers through
There is so much still to know
And when you smile above the lake
Your happiness will you overtake
And be reflected in the lake
Oh where are you Lady of the Lake?
Oh where are you, sweet mermaid?
Silent swimmers of lakes of dreams
Echoes of songs that our hearts
Do keep
Autumn leaves fall upon the lake
And hide the summer sky
Just for a moment the night's hate
Is seen here
But it is a lie
See the leaf, it is gold
And while it gently floats
Let this be your thought
Here is the lake, here the sun
Here the mermaid, here the leaf
And everything and you are one
